We love Uno’s Deep Dish Pizza. They are located in Chicago, so the delivery is impossible here in California. In lieu of not having that pizza available, I will provide the recipe for making it at home.
You are going to need a bread machine to make this recipe, it also makes it much easier to make the dough.
Mix the ingredients in into your bread machine in this order:
- 1 & 1/4 cups of water.
- 3 Tablespoons of olive oil.
- 2 teaspoons of sugar.
- 1 teaspoon of salt.
- Combine 2&3/4 cups of flour and 1/2 cup of corn meal into a bowl, then add it into the bread machine.
- Poke a small hole into the flour mixture and put in 2 & 1/2 teaspoons of yeast.
Set the bread machine on the dough setting and let it do it’s thing.
Once this is done, separate the dough into two pieces. Roll out the first piece of dough and put it into a 9″ deep dish pan. Poke small holes at the bottom with a fork.
Roll out the second piece of dough and place aside. Fill the 9″ pan with your favorite pizza ingredients then cover the top with that second piece of dough. Pleat the edges so it looks like a pie. Cook in a brisk oven (400 Degrees) for about 30 minutes. Check to see if the crust is golden. if not, back into the oven for another 15 minutes.
Racoons are pretty rampant where I am from. The young are especially friendly, as you can see from the pictures. This was taken back from where I am from.

St. Helena is a small town near Napa, California. It had a net “old town” with some very old buildings.
Hello, This is my first post.
Big Print
Some of these are absolutely spectacular.
One of the neatest things I have seen is the Lincoln Memorial at night. The building is painted orange by the foliage lighting, giving quite a neat effect.
We visited the Washington D.C. Zoo to mainly check out the Panda Bear exhibit. We arrived very early and the Pandas were out eating. As you can see from my pictures, our view was uninhibited. They were constantly eating.
